What is involved?
- Assessment: The young person will complete a questionnaire, which will be reviewed together during the session to gain a better understanding of their needs and explore how we can best support them.
- Risk Assessment: We will discuss safety elements with the young person and work together to develop a plan that ensures their safety moving forward.
- Treatment: Through guided self-help we engage the young person in activities that provide practical strategies to support them to develop confidence in their own skills and ability to cope. Parents/carers may be involved in the sessions for support and encouragement.
- Goal Setting: Together, we establish goals that the young person wants to achieve, which we review and track progress on each week.
