Support for Young People
Early Intervention Service for young people aged 11-17 (referral required)
Heads Up provide group support to young people, aged 11-17, who are experiencing low to moderate mental health difficulties such as anxiety, low mood or low self esteem, through our Boost programme.
Access to the Boost programme can be made by either a:
- GP referral or
- Self referral; using the My Self Referral portal (www.myselfreferral-llr.nhs.uk)
Referrals are reviewed by the Triage & Navigation service and referred to the most appropriate service based on information provided.

Boost aims to equip young people with a better understanding of mental and emotional health, coping strategies and emotional resilience.
Boost is friendly and relaxed. We aim to create a calm and positive space to help young people share experiences and learn together.
Boost includes the following topics:
Young people attending will be of a similar age, 11-13 or 14-17
Boost takes place at the same time each week for 1 hour.
