Support for Young People
Early Intervention Service for young people aged 11-17 (referral required)
This group work support is for young people, aged 11-17, with low to moderate mental health needs who have been referred through the Early intervention Service, accessed through either:
- a GP referral or
- self referral using the My Self Referral portal (www.myselfreferral-llr.nhs.uk)
Upon referral, Heads Up will contact families to offer their young person a place on the Boost programme.

Boost aims to equip young people with a better understanding of mental and emotional health, coping strategies and emotional resilience.
Young people attending will be of a similar age, 11-13 or 14-17 and will meet at the same time each week for 1 hour. As Boost is a rolling programme young people may join and leave at different times.
Boost is a friendly and relaxed environment, a calm and positive space to help young people share experiences and learn together.
